What We Are About...

  • who we are

Women of Worth Outreach (WOW OUT) Ministries is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization based in San Antonio, Texas founded by Beth Miles and co-directed by Cheryl Nesbitt, and Carmen Bryan.  WOW OUT is supported by many others that generously lend their time and talents in the name of Christ our King.

WOW OUT boldly proclaims the eternal God of the Holy Bible as the only source of truth, meaning, and purpose in life.  Without God, life and truth become meaningless and subjective.  We further declare Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of all mankind promised in Isaiah 53, and the one and only path to God.

  • what we do

Our passion at WOW OUT Ministries is to encourage women (and thereby their families) to become active followers and disciples of Christ in their homes, workplaces, and relationships.  We want to:

  • Prod those who are sleepy in their Christian walk to WAKE UP!

  • Encourage those who are weary to rest and rejuvenate in the Lord, receiving life-giving refreshment through His people.

  • Lend a hand in the name of Christ to those who are physically or spiritually weak.

The bible is clear that being a Christian means denying yourself in order to follow Him.  Our mission is to stir women to realize their great value to God and walk in a manner worthy of their calling in Christ.

  • why we do it

We do what we do because we believe all women are WORTHY.  Worthy of real love, worthy of true respect, worthy of kindness, truth, time, effort, care, and so much more.

Despite what culture so often portrays, women do not derive their worth from the way they look or because of talent or ability.  Instead, all women (and men) are worthy because God—the Source of all truth—says they are worthy.  John 3:16 and Romans 5:8 teach that God gave His only Son to die for us even though we had complete disregard for God and His ways.  When Jesus rose again to life, the price was fully paid for our redemption, proving our worth to God.  To own that great and wonderful salvation, all we must do is accept His gift of eternal life and follow Him in faith (John 3:16 and Romans 10:9-10).

It only takes the tiniest disruption in the pond to create a ripple.   The effects from the slightest change in someone’s life can become incrementally larger—a ripple effect.   We've experienced this in our own lives, and want to see God do the same thing in others.  When one woman begins to live for Christ, the effect is felt in her workplace, marriage, children, friends, church, and every other relationship.

Our goal is to expose women to the truth of Christ so that the ripple effect can begin in their lives.
